Overview:
Spray drying is the most widely used process in liquid forming and drying industry. It is most suitable for producing powdered, granular solid products from solution, emulsion, suspension and paste liquid raw materials. Therefore, spray drying is an ideal process when the particle size distribution, residual water content, bulk density and particle shape of the finished product must meet precise standards.
How it works:
The air is filtered and heated into the dry top air dispenser, where the hot air uniformly spirals into the drying chamber. The material liquid is sprayed into very fine mist droplets by the high speed centrifugal atomizer (rotation) at the top of the tower body, and flows in contact with the hot air, and can be dried into finished products in a very short time. The finished product is continuously output from the dry bottom and the cyclone separator, and the exhaust gas is emptied by the fan.
Features:
◆ Fast drying speed, the surface area of the material liquid is greatly increased after atomization, in the hot air flow, the instant evaporation of 95-98% of the water, the drying time only a few seconds, especially suitable for the drying of heat sensitive materials.
◆ Production has good uniformity, fluidity and solubility, high product purity, good quality.
The production process is simplified and the operation control is convenient. For the moisture content of 40-60%(up to 90% for special materials), the liquid can be dried into powder products at one time. After drying, there is no need to crush and screen, reduce the production process and improve the purity of products. The product size, loose density, moisture, within a certain range by changing the operating conditions to adjust, control and management are very convenient.
